Set-In Carpet Stains and How a Pro Clean Lifts Them
Old spots are not fresh spills
Set-in carpet stains have already wicked, oxidized, or been cooked in by a previous cleaner. A fresh-spill agent used weeks later often moves the color outward and leaves a ring. Bleach that someone tried earlier may have removed dye. That pale mark will not dye itself back during a cleaning.
Identify, then work inward
We look at the edges, the feel of the yarn, and whether the spot returns when it is damp. Oily set-ins, dye stains, and old pet spots each get their own steps, worked from the outside in so the ring does not grow. Extraction follows. If the mark is fiber damage, we stop and say so instead of charging for a result chemistry cannot produce.
Do not keep adding products
Every extra bottle you pour becomes part of the stain we have to remove. Leave a set-in spot alone and book the visit. Call (949) 992-3299 and describe how old the mark is and what has already been tried.
