Area Rug Repair in Orange County

A good rug does not have to be replaced because the edge is fraying or the fringe is worn. We repair fringe, edges, and binding on area rugs, usually together with a wash.

Fringe wears first because vacuums catch it and feet drag it. Worn fringe can be secured, rebuilt, or removed cleanly, depending on the rug and what you want it to look like. An unraveling edge gets rebound before the wear spreads into the field of the rug.

We look at the rug first and tell you what the repair involves and what it costs before any work starts. On some rugs a repair is simple. On others, especially hand-knotted pieces, we tell you honestly whether the repair is worth it against the value of the rug.

Most repairs happen at our facility. We pick the rug up, wash it, make the repair, and bring it back. Pickup and delivery work the same way as our regular rug service.
