Tile and Grout Cleaning for Soil Stuck in the Lines
The mop never reaches the joint
Tile and grout cleaning is about the joint, not the glaze. A mop spreads a thin film across the tile and leaves the grit packed in the grout. That is why the floor looks clean when it is wet and dirty when it dries. Cement grout is porous. The soil is in it, not on it.
Agitate the line, then extract
We apply a cleaner suited to the tile and the grout, agitate the joints, and extract the slurry so it is not pushed into the next room. Acid is not the default. Used on the wrong stone or on glazed tile it etches. If the grout is cracked or missing, cleaning will not replace it. We clean what is there.
Keeping the lines from going black again
Once the joints are actually clean, a sealer can slow the next round of soil. It is optional and it is not a substitute for the cleaning. Call (949) 992-3299 and tell us the room: kitchen, bath, or entry, and whether the tile is ceramic, porcelain, or stone.
